Grizzly Cycles is a small, husband‑and‑wife‑run bike shop built for real Bakersfield riders. We opened our doors because we wanted a cycling space that felt warm, honest, and human. Our Story

We didn’t start Grizzly Cycles to be the biggest shop in town. We started it because Bakersfield deserved a different kind of cycling experience. One rooted in community, craftsmanship, and joy. Over time, that vision has grown into a movement: Saturday rides, beginner‑friendly education, bikepacking culture, and a service philosophy built on transparency and care. We’re proud to be building something that reflects the heart of this city.

Grizzly Cycles is a service‑first shop. We tune, repair, and care for bikes of all kinds with honesty and attention to detail. We believe in clear communication, no upsells, and no shame. whether your bike is dusty from the river path or loaded for a foothill adventure.

A few boundaries help us stay focused and safe:
