Compatible with virtually any chain you can throw at it*, the 1647 features a sturdy pin complete with ball bearing. The bearing helps to ensure the chain pin is driven straight every time. We still include a shelf to loosen stuck pins. Why the other brands have done away with that is something we'll never figure out.

And even though under normal use you'll never need them, we have replacement pins available.
