Recap of the Rigid Bike Classic DH Race - Bakersfield, CA

The inaugural Rigid Bike Classic downhill race in Bakersfield, CA, was a resounding success, with 20 enthusiastic participants taking on the thrilling 1.5-mile course. The event showcased a diverse range of riding talent, divided into various categories, with fierce competition and camaraderie.

In the Modern Rigid category, Alejandro cruised to victory, claiming the top spot, followed closely by Drew in second and Gene in third. The Vintage Rigid category saw Kevin take the gold, with Justin and Brance rounding out the podium in second and third place, respectively.

The women had their own fierce competition, with Priscilla dominating the Women's Vintage Rigid category, while Rachael triumphed in the Women's Modern Rigid category. The Klunker Category was also exciting, with Aaron taking top honors and Nick following closely behind in second place.

Participants were treated to beautiful weather, with blue skies and rolling golden hills creating a stunning backdrop for the race. After the intense competition, Jeremy from Sad Tire Coffee kept everyone's spirits high by providing delicious coffee to recharge the racers.
